Good morning everyone! I have a new video to share with you. It’s called 起きて, which means “wake up”
The lyrics go:
Your eyes are closed. Wake up, wake up, the sun is beautiful. Morning shines again, where are you? Your white, translucent skin Has turned cold, the sun is sinking. No tears can shed. Wake up, wake up! The sun is gone. It has disappeared, it has disappeared, it has disappeared.
It was one of my first attempts to write a song in Japanese a couple of years ago, but I only recently decided to record it.
The video is an edited version of "The Song of the Birds" (1935), Color Classic animated film by Max Fleischer, which now in the public domain.
